Nail Tech Employment in NH

Most schools will help with job placement and if you’ve done an apprenticeship you likely have a salon waiting to employ you upon getting your license. If you need more help with your work search try https://www.nhes.nh.gov/services/job-seekers/jobs.htm.

Another possible career route you can take is to open your own salon. But it might be a good idea to try to get a couple of years of on-the-job experience and some management courses before you attempt that. Being your own boss and running your own business isn’t everyone’s “cup of tea”. It can require extra work, but it can also make you extra money, especially if you start hiring others.

NH doesn’t require any retraining or updating of your skills to renew your license. You only need fill out a form and pay a fee every two years for renewal. That said it is never a bad idea to update your skills!

You can also learn manicuring as part of a cosmetology program in NH.
