Florida Esthetician License Requirements
When you have completed school and are ready to apply for your certification, you can do this in one of two different ways. You can either apply online or by downloading, printing out, and filling out a paper application. If you choose to submit a paper application, you will need to ensure that you also provide an application fee , proof that you have completed a Board-approved HIV/AIDS course, the Certification of Eligibility portion of your application from your school, and documentation regarding previous course evaluations.
If you hold a skin care specialty license from another state, you will likely be able to apply for your license solely based on endorsement. For this, you must be at least 16 years old, have a license with similar or greater regulations as Florida, a high school diploma, 260 hours of necessary education, and other requirements.
