You will also need to take a Red Seal Interprovincial Theory Exam, and a practical exam which will be set by your school.

Get Your MB Hairdressing License
Please note that nail technicians, estheticians and hair stylists are under separate certification hours, but you can work toward all three simultaneously.
Since the Red Seal exam you take as part of your certification is Interprovincial, you may not be required to prove your credentials further, if you are going to another province to work.
Check with that province’s board to ensure that you meet all the requirements and that further training will not be needed.
